Terms and Conditions
By requesting or receiving any service from Sunset Tree Services (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the client (“you” or “customer”) agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These Terms apply to all tree trimming, removal, stump grinding, emergency services, consultations, and any other services we provide.
All estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated in writing.
Estimates are based on visible conditions at the time of inspection. Sunset Tree Services is not liable for unforeseen issues such as hidden structures, underground utilities, or root systems unless previously disclosed by the client.
Scheduling is dependent on weather, equipment availability, and prior job completion. Estimated timeframes are not guaranteed.
The client must provide clear access to the worksite.
The client must disclose any known underground utilities, irrigation lines, septic systems, or other sensitive structures prior to job commencement.
The client must secure all necessary permits, HOA approvals, or municipal permissions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Payment is due in full upon job completion, unless otherwise specified in writing.
A 50% deposit may be required for jobs over $2,000 or requiring special equipment.
We accept payments via cash, check, or approved digital methods.
Late payments may incur a 5% monthly finance charge.
Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee.
Clients must notify us at least 48 hours in advance for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the total quoted service price.
Weather delays are not considered cancellations and may result in rescheduling without penalty.
Sunset Tree Services is not liable for damage to underground utilities or structures not clearly marked or disclosed in writing prior to service.
We are not responsible for damages to landscaping, driveways, or structures due to heavy equipment usage if such access is requested or required by the client.
Liability is limited to the cost of the specific service provided.
We are insured and licensed in the State of Texas for your protection and ours.
All work areas will be cleared of limbs, brush, and wood debris as outlined in the estimate.
Wood and debris removal is included only if specified in the estimate. Firewood-sized logs may be left onsite unless otherwise agreed upon.
Stump grinding does not include removal of stump grindings unless stated in the quote.
Emergency tree services (such as storm damage or hazardous removals) may carry additional fees.
Availability is not guaranteed during high-demand or disaster periods.
No warranties are expressed or implied unless provided in writing.
Tree health and longevity are not guaranteed due to variables outside our control (weather, pests, disease, soil conditions, etc.).
Any disputes will first be addressed in good faith via direct negotiation.
If unresolved, both parties agree to submit the matter to binding arbitration in Bexar County, Texas, in accordance with Texas law.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if we believe the conditions are unsafe or the customer is acting inappropriately toward our team.
Sunset Tree Services reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
